Building Department Update
Beginning on April 3, 2025 all Town of Knox Building Department business will be conducted by appointment only. Please email the department at [email protected] or call 518.935.7101(c)/518.872.2551 ext.2 to schedule an appointment or to have any questions answered.

BEGINNING JANUARY 7, 2025, THE CLERK'S OFFICE WILL BE OPEN EVERY TUESDAY FROM 5:30-7PM AND THURSDAY'S FROM 5:30-7:30PM, UNLESS OTHERWISE POSTED ON THE WEBSITE. YOU MAY ALSO CALL OR EMAIL TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT OUTSIDE OF THESE HOURS IF NEEDED.

Click the picture to go to the Hometown Hero application. Hometown Hero banner applications are accepted throughout the year. The deadline for new banners is April 30th, to allow time to process the information and have the banner made in time to be hung by Memorial Day. Banners are taken down shortly before Veteran's Day in November, and a ceremony is held shortly after for new banner recipients to be dedicated back to their families.
