The BKW Budget Advisory Committee
would like to extend an invitation to all school district residents to a Shared Service Presentation on February 15 at 6:00pm in the high school auditorium. The presentation will be given by Cheryl Dudley of Greenville CSD. Greenville CSD, along with four other districts in Greene County, are currently involved in the early stages of a Shared Service study. Shared Services is an effort to reduce operating and capital expenses, enhance educational opportunities, and improve the quality and efficiency of current programs and services.

Effective Immediately:
Changes to the Knox Transfer Station
Electronic Recycling Notification:
The Knox Transfer Station will no longer be collecting a recycling fee for electronics; such as televisions, computer monitors and microwaves.

New Procedure for Paper Products:
Green Fibers will now be collecting paper products from the Town of Knox for disposal.
The list of Acceptable Items are as follows:
*newspapers
*phone books
*office paper
*cardboard
*cereal boxes
*magazines
*brown paper bags
*construction paper

The KNOX transfer station will be closed on the following holidays:
New Years day
Fourth of July
Veterans day
Thanksgiving day
Christmas day
The station will be open on all other holidays.
